Bruno Meichsner wurde in Berlin geboren und entdeckte 2005 im Knabenchor Berlin seine Leidenschaft für den Gesang. Er ist der Gewinner des „7. Internationalen Haydn-Gesangswettbewerbs“ und mehrfacher Preisträger, sowohl des Mozarthaus Vienna-Preises als auch des Publikumspreises.
Seine große Leidenschaft ist der Liedgesang und war dazu bereits in zahlreichen Young Artist Programmen, wie der Liedakademie des Heidelberger Frühlings und dem Leeds Song Festival. Zudem ist der junge Bariton 2026 ebenfalls Young Artist der BrittenPears Academy und Lied the Future, einer Initiative des Franz-Schubert-Vereins, die von der Banc-Sabadell-Stiftung und der Ferrer-Musikstiftung unterstützt wird. Als Konzertsänger trat er in renommierten Sälen wie der Philharmonie Berlin, dem Konzerthaus Berlin und dem Pierre-Boulez-Saal (Schubertwoche) auf, unter anderem mit dem Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.

Während seines Studiums war er auch in Musiktheaterproduktionen wie „Die Zauberflöte“ und „A Midsummer Night’s Dream“ zu sehen. Der lyrische Bariton schloss sein Gesangsstudium an der Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin bei Prof. Stephan Rügamer ab.
Wichtige Impulse erhielt er durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern wie Thomas Hampson und Wolfram Rieger sowie durch Meisterkurse bei KS Robert Holl, KS Birgid Steinberger und anderen.

Bruno Meichsner was born in Berlin and discovered his passion for singing in 2005 whilst a member of the Berlin Boys’ Choir. He is the winner of the ‘7th International Haydn Singing Competition’ and a multiple prize-winner, having received both the Mozarthaus Vienna Prize and the Audience Prize.
His great passion is lieder singing, and he has already participated in numerous young artist programmes, such as the Liedakademie of the Heidelberger Frühling and the Leeds Song Festival. Furthermore, the young baritone is also a Young Artist at the BrittenPears Academy and Lied the Future in 2026, an initiative of the Franz Schubert Society supported by the Banc Sabadell Foundation and the Ferrer Music Foundation. As a concert singer, he has performed in renowned venues such as the Philharmonie Berlin, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Pierre Boulez Hall (Schubert Week), including with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.

During his studies, he also appeared in musical theatre productions such as ‘The Magic Flute’ and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. The lyric baritone completed his vocal studies at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin under Prof. Stephan Rügamer.
He gained valuable inspiration through collaborations with artists such as Thomas Hampson and Wolfram Rieger, as well as through masterclasses with KS Robert Holl, KS Birgid Steinberger and others.
